Discover how I migrated a high-performing review from a generalist site to a niche authority hub — improving topical focus, strengthening E-E-A-T, and building a better user journey.
Let’s Set The Stage
When I first launched IsaacMedrano.com, it was a space to share all of my projects — from SEO consulting to astrology to notary work. My Loan Signing System review originally lived here, but once I created a website focused specifically on becoming a loan signing agent. The time has come to move the content over or 301 redirect it to the dedicated notary hub: LifestyleSignings.com.
This 301 redirect SEO case study breaks down why I migrated the content, the SEO strategy behind it, and the broader improvements I made to position Lifestyle Signings as the go-to resource for aspiring Loan Signing Agents.

The Problem: Split Authority
When I first wrote the article, the website it was originally published on, was the home for my notary public business. Since IsaacMedrano.com is now a Digital Marketing Strategist-SEO Specialist portfolio site, the loan signing system review article was no longer in alignment.
If memory serves me correct, I was sitting in a coffee shop in Chiang Mai early January 2023, when I decided it was time to produce content on the domain LifestyleSignings.com to house the lessons and serve as a project to put my SEO skills to work.
In a nutshell these are the issues I sought to fix by 301 redirecting the Loan Signing System Review its new home on LifestyleSignings.com:
1. Mixed topical focus diluted authority.
2. Fragmented user experience confused readers.
3. Missed opportunities with internal linking & conversion.
The Solution: Strategic Content Migration + Site Enhancements
Consider this your TL;DR disclaimer: In order to execute the 301 redirect of the Loan Signing System Review page on IsaacMedrano.com, I dedicded to update the contents, internal link to support articles, add Calls-To-Action, add a table of contents, and a FAQ section. After executing all the changes published article on Lifestyle Signings was ready for its permanent redirect made simple with the Rankmath SEO plugin.
Additional Updates:
While I was in the revising and optimizing mode, I went ahead and tackled updating the home page and the landing page for the book I self-published via Amazon KDP.
Why? The Homepage is the hub or the central bus terminal. From here readers can choose which bus to take to their desired destination. If the bus terminal is disorganized, or unclear, or chaotic, or missing additional signage to direct travelers it will lead to confusion and travelers leaving disappointed or frustrated.
Why improve the book landing page? The original version went straight to the point without warming up the visitor to the page and it needed other little touches like a focused keyword to build around and enough calls-to-action. More work will be done here but these changes were much needed.
